District Health Society, Madurai has issued an employment notification to engage medical & paramedical professional to strengthen healthcare services. Job Location
On Selection, Individuals will be posted at PHC & UHWC functioning under the control of Madurai Corporation & DHS Madurai.
Appointment Nature
Recruited Nurses will be appointed on contractual basis for a period of 11 months. Further Extension may be granted based on satisfactory performance.

DHS Madurai Staff Nurse, ANM Eligibility
Age Limit
1. Staff Nurse/MLHP (UHWC/UPHC)- 50 years.
2. ANM (UPHC)- 40 years
3. Urban Health Manager (UPHC)- 35 years
Educational Qualification
1. Staff Nurse/MLHP (UHWC/UPHC)- GNM or B.Sc Nursing Degree
2. ANM (UPHC)- Completion of Two year Certificate Course in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife from DPH approved Institute.
3. Urban Health Manager (UPHC)- M.Sc Nursing in Pediatrics/OBG/Community Health Nursing or B.Sc Nursing along with Three years experience in Public Health can apply.
All qualifications should have been obtained from INC recognized institute. Registration & Live License from Tamilnadu Nurses & Midwives Council is must.
Salary
1. Staff Nurse/MLHP (UHWC/UPHC)- Rs.21,000 per month
2. ANM (UPHC)- Rs.17,500 per month
3. Urban Health Manager (UPHC)- Rs.27,000 per month
Selection Method
Selection will be based on document verification & merit of marks.
