Appointment Nature
As per Tamilnadu NHM Guidelines, Initial appointment will be on contractual basis. Further extension will be granted based on good performance appraisal score.

Age Limit
Age Limit is not revealed in notification. State NHM Guidelines will be applicable in terms of Age Limit.
Educational Qualification
MLHP & Staff Nurse- Completion of Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc Nursing Degree from INC recognized institute is required.
Urban Health Nurse- Completion of Certificate Course in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife from an institute recognized by Directorate of Public Health & Preventive Medicine.
It is important to note, All individuals must have registered in Tamilnadu State Nurses & Midwives Council.
Experience Required
Though the notification has not mentioned mandatory experience, Individuals possessing experience in relevant field will be desirable.
Salary
1. Mid Level Health Provider- Rs.21,000 per month
2. Staff Nurse (NCD & RCH)- Rs.21,000 per month
3. Urban Health Nurse- Rs.17,500 per month
