Apprenticeship Duration
Apprenticeship Training is scheduled for a period of one year. Extension of Training may be granted for another one year.

Starting Date to Apply: 15-04-2026 from 11am onwards
Last Date to Apply: 06-05-2026 till 5pm
NHPC Nursing Apprentice Eligibility
Applicant should eligibility criteria below and must produce supporting documents.
Age Limit
Individuals should be between 18 to 30 years. Age relaxations apply as per Central Government norms. i.e. OBC- 03 years, SC/ST- 05 years, PWD- 10 years.
Educational Qualification
Nursing Assistant- B.Sc Nursing Degree
Diploma (Nursing/GNM)- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery.
All educational qualifications should be from INC recognized institute. Registration in State Nursing Council & Valid License is mandatory.
Experience Required
Not required.
Stipend & Accommodation
1. Nursing Assistant- Rs.15000 per month
2. Diploma (GNM/Nursing)- Rs.13500 per month.
Shared Bachelor Hostel Accommodation will be provided subject to availability. If there is no availability Rs.2500 will be paid in addition to stipend.
Selection Method
Selection will be based on weightage of marks distributed to 10/+2/Diploma/Degree qualifications.
NHPC Nursing Apprentice Application Forms
There are Two Steps in Application Process.
Step 1: Register in NAPS (for Diploma Nursing) & NATS (for B.Sc Nursing) portal and obtain enrollment number.
Step 2: After obtaining NAPS/NATS enrollment number, Proceed to submit applications online through NHPC website. Find direct links to applications below.
Be prepared with scanned copies of Educational qualification certificates, Mark Sheets, Proof of identity, passport size photo, signature for uploading.
