SSC Nursing Officer, PHN, ANM Eligibility
Aspirant should possess below age limit, educational qualification against applying posts. Documents supporting these eligibility will be required to be uploaded and verified later.
Age Limit
> Nursing Officer (All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health & Central Leprosy Teaching
and Research Institute)- 18 to 25 years.
> Nursing Officer (Central Government Health Scheme(CGHS)- 18 to 30 years
> Auxiliary Nurse Midwife- 18 to 30 years
> Public Health Nursing Officer- 18 to 30 years.
However age relaxations will be applicable as per central government norms. (OBC- 03 years, SC/ST- 05 years, PWD- 10 years)
Educational Qualification
1. Nursing Officer- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (DGNM)
2. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife- Two years Auxiliary Nurse Midwife under vocational stream of 10+2 possessing the certificate from the central Board of Secondary Education.
3. Public Health Nursing Officer- B.Sc Nursing Degree (or) DGNM with Diploma in Public Health Nursing.
Registration in State Nursing Council and Valid License is must from INC recognized institute.

Salary
1. Nursing Officer- Level 4 (Rs.25500 /- to Rs.81100 /-)
2. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife- Level 8 (Rs.47600 /- to Rs.151100 /-)
3. Public Health Nursing Officer- Level 7 (Rs.44900 /- to Rs.142400 /-)
Selection Method
Selection will be based on Computer Based Test/Skill Test.
It is important to note there will be 0.5 negative for each wrong answers.
Tentative Month of Exam will be on June 2026.
SSC Nursing Jobs Online Application Forms
SSC has required eligible individuals to submit application online. Do a one Time Registration at first with valid e-mail & mobile number which are essential for proper communication. Then login on online application forms and fillup with correct details. Upload Passport size photo, signature, certificates in prescribed format and size. Pay required application fee as below. Complete all stages and submit application process before last date i.e. 04-05-2026. Take a printout of submitted applications for future reference.
Application Fee: Rs.100 should be paid as application fee online. Women/SC/ST/PWD/ESM are exempted from paying fee.
